The APCOPT Red Ribbon Club successfully conducted an awareness programme on Tuberculosis (TB), HIV, and Leprosy on 7th January 2025. This initiative was organized as part of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme 2025 in collaboration with the Chengalpet District Government Tuberculosis Control Programme Team.
The event aimed to educate attendees on the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of these critical public health issues. Expert speakers from the Chengalpet team provided valuable insights into the ongoing efforts to eliminate tuberculosis, raise awareness about HIV, and reduce the stigma surrounding leprosy.
Interactive sessions, educational materials, and discussions emphasized the importance of community involvement in combating these diseases. The programme highlighted the commitment of APCOPT and its Red Ribbon Club to fostering health awareness and supporting national health goals.
